'1 ¢ Life' was a landmark publication of 1964, a large portfolio containing 62 lithographs by 28 American and European artists. The publication was compiled by the artist Walasse Ting who wanted to combine an array of contemporary artists into a single anthology, linking them together with his own art and poetry.
