I couldn't believe this head when I found it. Another beach fire survivor, its features were enhanced by the charring.
Back in the studio, a strong, simple bird body lay in wait. The head wrapped around the heavier end in perfect scale. That allowed the two steel legs to achieve balance on its upright perch.
