He wrote 'this print, although geometrically controlled, has other connotations, hence the titles - Quadrant (arc), Highbury (local area), Highbury Quadrant (address close by studio), also name of local children's school. The printing process entails etching coupled with a block print in register plus an overprinting of line work'.
