Driftwood, mixed media assemblage.

The driftwood pebble, shaped and moulded by multiple tides, encrusted with tiny stones from gritty beaches, waited in my store in readiness for the metal carapace.
A small, benign driftwood head and four beat nails completed the tortoise.
