Half a piece of driftwood found on Criccieth beach, which probably came from a wreck; letters coloured with acrylics. While on the sea-floor, the wood was bored into, first by teredos (large holes) and then by gribbles (small holes). The base is part of an old, very large roofing slate.
The words are from And Death shall have No Dominion by Dylan Thomas (1914-1953).
